President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko pays state visit to Hungary on July 10-11, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

According to the President’s press office, the main objective of the visit is further improvement of bilateral relations and cooperation in trade-economic and humanitarian spheres.

On July 10 the President is expected to meet with President of Hungary László Sólyom, Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany and chairman of State Comittee Katalin Sili. This day Yushchenko also will speak to representatives of business and political circles of Hungary.

On July 11 the President will hold a meeting with activists of Republican organ of authority of Ukrainians in Hungary and members of presidium of European congress of Ukrainians. The visit of metallurgical plant “Dunaffer” is scheduled. Moreover the Presidents of two countries will open monument of Taras Shevchenko in Budapest.
