“Ostrog Academy” graduated Masters of Theology for the first time during 430 years

In the National university “Ostrog academy”, known as the first higher educational institution of the East Europe, for the first time in Ukraine the graduation of the Masters of Theology took place. For the last time such specialists graduated from this higher educational institution 430 years ago.

As the “Ostrog academy” press service informed, 14 graduates received the corresponding diplomas – future priests, pedagogues and even officials of State institutions.

In the solemn ceremony of the diplomas presentation patriarch of Kyiv and whole Rus-Ukraine Filaret Mykhaylo Panochko took part, “UNIAN” reports.

Next year, as the “Ostrog academy” promises, the number of persons interested to become the Masters of Theology will not decrease. All the students will obtain such profession on the State form of study.
