Extraordinary Minister of Ukraine Nestor Shufrych is convinced that there will be no ealy parliamentary elections in Ukraine. He said that yesterday at the press conference in Kyiv.

“Today we have statistics that 51% of the Ukrainians consider early elections will not take place. I agree with them,” he said.

“Cart of elections must be yoked by good horses to move it fast. But I have such feeling that President’s Secretariat yoked this cart by swan, crawfish and pike, that’s why this cart does not move yet,” he added.

According to him, 79% of people consider early parliamentary elections will not resolve political crisis. “I am afraid that these elections will only deepen confrontation and crisis in the country,” he said.

Shufrych considers elections are held only with the purpose to reform the coalition. But he expressed assurance that coalition composition will not be changed.

Shufrych thinks there are no constitutional grounds for early parliamentary elections.
