CIS Transport Ministers will coordinate efforts towards construction of motor ring around the Black Sea, which should intensify trading operations among states, the Cabinet press office informs.
The decision was reached after the meeting of the 27th CIS Coordination Transport Committee, Minister of Transport and Communications Mykola Rudkovskyi said.
According to Russian Transport Minister Igor Levitin, "each country has to find means to make these roads of the first category" to reach the goal. However, he said nothing about terms and amount of funds for the construction financing.
Levitin also pointed out that during a meeting of the European and CIS Transport Ministers in Sofia the parties decided to build the "railway ferry ring inside the Black Sea". In that way, as he said, it is expected to build two rings at the Black Sea: the internal ferry ring and the external motorcar one.
