City's mayor Leonid Chernovetskyi has stated that one more European-standard stadium valued at 200 M. Euros will be built in Kyiv by 2012.

"The works have already been started. We are going to attract investments for this grand project. Kyiv is aware of the responsibility that it bears for the country's image, which will host the "Euro-2012". The current stadium will be well prepared for the event too. The capital will be ready to host fans from all over Europe up to the mark", - L. Chernovetskyi pointed out. He also stressed that Kyiv will provide the UEFA with all necessary guarantees regarding football matches conducting.

Ukraine and Poland have lately won the tender for the right to host the "Euro-2012" under a secret vote of 12 members of the UEFA Executive Committee, according to Cabinet press office.
