The President’s decree on VRU dismissal is supported by 24 governors of regional state administrations, the correspondent statement of the governors says.
“The President in his address transparently explained his motivation of VRU dismissal. The decision is not easy but is right and significant for Ukrainian people,” the statement says.
Governors of the regional administrations consider that the main reason of the President’s decision is threaten for democracy and real life.
According to the governors, to resist this threat is possible only by means of legal constitutional way through early elections that will return people the power control.
“We assure the people that there are all conditions for democratic will of people and for provision of economic stability in regions Our work demonstrated and will demonstrate understanding and support of the President’s decisions concerning development of modern democratic country,” the statement says.
Governors also emphasized that the President’s decrees are obligatory to be fulfilled on the whole territory of Ukraine.
The statement is signed by governors of 24 regions of Ukraine.
