The European Commission does not see grounds for
international participation in settlement of the political crisis in Ukraine,
EC official Cristian Humann told Tuesday at a briefing.
“We do not consider Ukraine’s situation as one that needs international help or interference. It is home affair of Ukraine,” she said.
Mrs. Humann also noted that current political situation does not influence either the process of negotiations on new enhanced agreement between Ukraine and the EU or realization of EU programs in Ukraine within the framework of neighboring policy.
In conclusion, the EC official mentioned that the EC closely follows the political dialogue in Ukraine, including one that goes in mass Medias, and the EC considers that this witnesses about that democracy in Ukraine functions as it has to.
