The President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko stands for working out efficient action plan of coal industry development. He told today at the meeting with the representatives of the miner’s units in Luhansk region.
Yushchenko noted that “coal industry is one of the most perspective sectors of national energy complex for Ukraine.”
Yushchenko noted that it is necessary efficient action plan for 2007 concerning work in this sphere. According to Yushchenko it should be based on national program “coal of Ukraine”, decisions of the National security and defense council and the Government.
“The matter concerns technical re-equipment of miners but at first state programs should work. The more we concentrate on the development programs, the more effective result will be,” the President said.
Yushchenko said that situation in coal industry was always not easy. He called all to make efforts and work out efficient plan of industry modernization.
