The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dismissed Yuri Polyachenko
from the post of Health Ministry and appointed Yuri Haidayev.
249 out of 256 deputies registered in the parliament voted for the decision. Rada swore in Haidayev as Health Minister by 252 votes. BYuT and Our Ukraine factions did not take part in voting.
Polyachenko was dismissed in connection with taking the post of director of Surgery and Transplantation Institute of Shalimov’s Medicine Academy.
