The State Department of Veterinary Service has imposed a ban on import of sheep from Israel, the State Veterinary Medicine Department's press service informed.
The ban resulted from the reported cases of scrapie in Israel.
The ban is also imposed on pork import from Croatia and Bulgaria. The ban is related with outburst of hog cholera in the said countries.
Import of meat, fish and poultry into Ukraine should meet requirements of the State Department of the Veterinary Service.
