On March 1-2 the joint session of subcommittee №4 “Energy, transport, nuclear security and ecology” of the committee on cooperation between Ukraine and the EU will take place in Brussels.
In the scope of the session it is planned to discuss preparation to adoption of “European energy policy”, directions of technical assistance to Ukraine and progress achieved within mutual working groups between Ukraine and the EU on markets integration of energy and gas, on nuclear security and on energy effectiveness and renewable energy sources, UNIAN informs.
Among the questions on cooperation in transport sphere special attention will be paid to development of transport policy of the EU. The other questions on the agenda are discussion of the ecology policy of the EU and international and regional cooperation on preservation of the environment.
