Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych intends to warn governors of five regions, which have considerable salary debts. The Premier told journalists.
In response to the question, whether he is going to dismiss the governors of these regions, the PM underlined it is necessary to increase responsibility of officials. He added that it does not mean that they will be dismissed. According to him, “they must be seriously warned.”
The Premier noted that along with plenary power officials must account for their actions.
PM Yanukovych held meetings with governors of Zaporyzhzya, Zhytomyr and Sumy regions, Evhen Chervonenko, Yuri Pavlenko and Pavlo Kachur respectively.
