The President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko by his decree has promulgated delegation of Ukraine consisting of 18 persons for participation in negotiations with the EU concerning conclusion of new base agreement between Ukraine and the EU.

According to the document, the delegation will be headed by the deputy Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Andry Veselovsky.

The President allowed the head of the delegation of Ukraine in case of necessity : to make changes in complement of the delegation on agreement of heads of central authorities of executive power; to involve in work of the delegation bodies of state power, enterprises, institutions and organizations on agreement of their heads and also scientific advisors and experts.

Moreover, the Head of the State approved Directives of the delegation of Ukraine for participation in negotiation with the EU concerning conclusion of new base agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, UNIAN informs.

Yushchenko also charged the head of the delegation of Ukraine: to submit draft bill of new base agreement between Ukraine and the EU; to provide formation of work groups in the delegation on separate questions of the negotiation process and approve their complement.

The Cabinet of Ukraine should solve the question on financial provision of the delegation for participation in negotiations with the EU.

The decree is promulgated on the official web site of the President.
