Information of the official promulgation of the law “On the Cabinet of Ukraine” by the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is published today in the newspaper of central bodies of executive power of Ukraine “Governmental courier”.
The text completely coincides with the yesterday’s publication on the web site of the VR of Ukraine. “On December 21, 2006 the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law “On the Cabinet of Ukraine”, which was signed by the chairman of the VR of Ukraine on December 27, 2006 and on the same day it was forwarded to the President of Ukraine. On January 11, 2007 the President vetoed the law and forwarded it back to the Parliament with his proposals. On January 12, 2007 the Verkhovna Rada overrode the presidential veto and forwarded the law to the President again. On January 19, 2007 the law on the Cabinet was returned to the Verkhovna Rada without signature of the President of Ukraine,” “Governmental courier” said.
