On January 25, the sixth session of the interdepartmental committee on preparation of Ukraine’ accession to NATO will be held in the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine. The head of the press service of the Foreign Ministry Andry Deshchytsa told today at the briefing, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

According to him, deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine, temporally acting chairman of the committee Volodymyr Khandogy will preside at the session. The session will concern the results consideration of the fulfillment of the target plan “Ukraine-NATO” for 2006 within the plan “Ukraine-NATO,” the head of the press service of the Foreign Ministry said.

Deshchytsa informed that in the scope of the session the information of national coordinators, representatives of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine and national center on Euro Atlantic integrity of Ukraine will be heard.

“National coordinators, members of the committee intend to discuss main problems, set before the Ministries and departments of Ukraine in the context of fulfillment of the target plan in 2006 and also prospects of fulfillment of the target plan “Ukraine-NATO” for 2007,” he added.
