By the end of January Ukraine and Russia will create a working group to develop "Kyiv-Moscow" and "Moscow - Simferopol" highway, such an agreement was reached at a meeting between top officials of the Ukrainian and Russian Transport Ministries, “Cabinet pres office” informs.

According to the Transport and Communication Ministry's press service, the parties noted the positive dynamics of development of automobile transportation. The Russian side said Ukrainian transporters dominate with the annual share of over 80%.

The parties stated the need to develop normative-legal basis of cooperation in water transportation. The parties have agreed to continue work in drafting agreements between the Cabinet of ministers and the Russian government with regard to the order and conditions of shipping under foreign flags in internal waters, and an agreement on shipping in the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait. The Ukrainian side has also submitted a draft action plan, designed on the basis of Russian proposals, for realization of the concept of Ukrainian and Russian transport system integration.
