Today is Reunion Day of Ukraine. The Reunion Day of Ukraine was established by the President’s decree on January 21, 1999.
Ceremonial Reunion act of West Ukrainian People’s Republic and People’s Republic in one Ukrainian State was declared by the directory of Ukrainian People’s Republic on January 22, 1919 at Sophiya square in Kyiv.
West Ukrainian People’s Republic was declared on November 1, 1918 by mass statement of intelligentsia and the military at the Territory of Austrian-Hungarian Empire in Galychyna.
There will be celebrations dedicated Reunion Day of Ukraine today in the whole country.
