Ukraine is ready to hold talks with Romania on the delimitation of the Black Sea shelf while the case is still being considered at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Victor Yushchenko told a press conference in Romania, president press office reported.
The President said Ukraine appreciated what the World Court was doing. He added that the two sides had submitted its materials to the court.
“We hope the court will close the case within a year and a half. Ukraine will, no doubt, respect any of its decisions,” he said.
