Secretariat Chief of Staff Viktor Baloha met with Russia’s Ambassador to Ukraine Viktor Chernomyrdin on Thursday, president's press office reported. He wished the diplomat a happy New Year and a merry Christmas.
They spoke about Baloha’s visit to Moscow and ways to boost gas ties between Ukraine and Russia.
Baloha also outlined results of the President’s meeting with Speaker Moroz and Prime Minister Yanukovych on January 10.
