Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych considers that Foreign Minister of Ukraine Borys Tarasyuk is inwardly ready to make a decision concerning his either staying in office of the Minister or his resignation from the post. Yanukovych told journalists Wednesday at a press conference.

According to Yanukovych, he does not want to give any negative comments on Tarasyuk and he wishes him “only well.”

The Premier also noted that making decision on further fate of Tarasyuk, the President and the Minister himself “must first of all follow interests of the state, but not their personal motives.”

According to Yanukovych, today’s absence of Tarasyuk at the session of the Cabinet shows that there is no need to aggravate political issues on the threshold of the New Year. “We consider that we should come in the New Year in calm mood, and then the whole year would be quieter,” the PM underlined.
