Victor Yushchenko is convinced yesterday’s resolution by the Verkhovna Rada to raise the minimum wage in 2007 will be observed.

“These are public agreements. All the terms proposed by the President were accepted. If the adopted resolution is not in force within ninety days, I am convinced millions of people will side with the President,” he told journalists on Saturday after a church service on Kyiv’s Vladimir Hill.

“I have no doubts the minimum pension and the living wage will be as I proposed,” he said, “President’s press office” informs.
