The incident with the Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk was considered at today’s session of the Cabinet of Ukraine, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

According to Yanukovych, the Government made a decision to address the Parliament and the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko “on the existing situation with the Foreign Minister of Ukraine”, offering to appoint acting Foreign Minister.

The Prime Minister said that according to the Foreign Ministry regulations, the first deputy Foreign Minister should fulfill his duties temporally.

“It would be better the President appoints someone. If the President does not make a decision, the VR of Ukraine will do it," Yanukovych added. He noted that this decision should be made as soon as possible as “the State can’t be in such position when the Foreign Minister doesn’t do his duties.”

Moreover the Head of the Government said that he had seen and heard nothing about the fight with Borys Tarasyuk.

“The first time I came to know about it was at the Government's session,” he said.
