The Cabinet of Ukraine engages “to provide order in the country” before New Year celebrations. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych told at the session of the Cabinet of Ukraine, the ForUm’s correspondent reports.
“To make these holidays the real celebrations for people we should provide piece and order in the country,” he said.
The Prime Minister said that a meeting was held yesterday, initiated by the Interior Minister of Ukraine, concerning preparations to New Year and Christmas holidays.
“We should make order in the State before the holidays, I mean criminality, narcotics and illegal migration,” the PM said.
According to him, these arrangements will be controlled by the Interior Ministry of Ukraine together with law-enforcement organs.
“We will carry out this work by all means and make order both at borders of Ukraine and in regions,” he noted.
Yanukovych also said that tax and custom services of Ukraine will be involved in these arrangements.
