The draft budget bill for 2007, approved today by the parliament, does not include a number of principle positions of the President, as the head of social and economic development department of Secretariat of the President Oleksandr Shpak told journalists.

According to him, the matter concerns four principle propositions of the President, namely increase of minimum living wage, leveling of wages of the military, allocation of intermediate credits for local budgets and use of bill scheme for oil import.

In response to the question whether the President will sign or veto the budget bill, Shpak declared he would not comment on possible actions of the President, but noted that his department would recommend the President to veto the law.

“We will recommend not signing such budget law of Ukraine,” Shpak summed up.
