New agreement on cooperation between Ukraine and World Bank for near five years is being presently drafted, NRCU informed.
It coincides with Ukraine's drafting a development programme for the same
period, Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych said following a meeting with World
Bank President Paul Wolfowitz.
"We have agreed to harmonize this work with the World bank and to ensure financing of priority directions of the Government activities," the Prime Minister said. According to him, these programmes will be realized in the energy and transport spheres and will be aimed at improving state management and combating corruption.
