November 22 Victor Yushchenko held a reception at Kyiv’s Mariinsky Palace to mark the second anniversary of the Orange Revolution, president's press office reported.

In his speech, the President said the revolution, which had started two years ago on November 22, “took place not only in squares and streets but also in hearts and souls of the people.”

 Yushchenko said the holiday “is for the whole country and all Ukrainians no matter what political opinion they have.” On the part of Ukrainians, he also thanked the international community for supporting Ukraine’s democratic course, which “will not change,” he said.

Anatoly Hrytsenko, Pavlo Kachur, Anatoly Kinakh, Vitaly Klitschko, Yuriy Klyuchkovsky, Ruslana Lyzhychko, Ihor Likhovy, Yuriy Lutsenko, Anatoly Matviyenko, Oleksandr Moroz, Yuriy Pavlenko, Oleh Rybachuk, Borys Tarasyuk, party leaders, religious leaders, scientists, diplomats and journalists were present at the reception.
