For the five years in the margins of the
program “Security through science” NATO has allocated 12 million dollars for
development of Ukrainian science, as Defense Minister Anatoly Hrytsenko tols
journalists in Kyiv.
According to him, in fact, 10%of the program’s budget was delivered to Ukraine.
IN addition, the minister noted that in 2006 Ukrainian scientists received two million euros, 500 thousand of which were spent for informatization of Ukrainian Universities. NATO has also granted 400 scholarships to Ukrainian scientists this year.
