During morning session of the VR, Chairman of the Ukrainian parliament Oleksandr Moroz put forward a proposal to invite Ukraine’s Prime Minister and orange ministers to the parliament. However, the deputies did not support this initiative. Only 125 out of 226 necessary deputies voted for this proposal.

After the voting, Moroz announced a break in the parliament’s work by request of PR and CPU factions.

According to Moroz, the break is connected with that the deputies wanted to hold consultations on resignation of orange ministers.

The VR speaker explained that the deputies will consider resignation of only two ministers today – Justice Minister Roman Zvarych and Interior Minister Yuri Lutsenko.

According to Moroz, he talked to Ukraine’s PM Yanukovych about these issues and asked him whether the Premier had a possibility to submit new candidature for vacant posts in case the parliament accepted the resignation of these “orange” ministers.

According to the speaker, Yanukovych can appoint only two ministers – Justice Minister and Culture Minister – , but as for the other the Premier need to hold consultations.
