Ukraine’s Economy Ministry has launched issuing licences on wheat export. It lets Ukrainian grain traders renew wheat supplies to external markets.

As grain traders informed, the first licences were issued on October 13. After two-week downtime, the first shipments have been launched in the ports.

Nevertheless, Ukrainian grain traders forecast coming problems connected with the grain export quotas implemented by the Cabinet as there is no registered procedure to set a quota.

“It is still unknown what will be the Custom’s reaction when the grain export quotas’ regulation will come into force cancelling at the same time the licence on wheat export,” said a representative of a large trade company who preferred to be unknown.
