Oil slick threatening Ukrainian Danube has been almost liquidated, Ukraine’s Emergency Ministry press office informed Thursday. The slick was originated from Serbian terminal Prahovo.
The recovery works are finalising within the area of Svishtov, Bulgarian settlement. Over 120 tones of black oil and polluted soil have been picked. The utilisation is underway.
Ukrainian Embassy in Romania reports that the cleaning works are coming to end in Romanian territorial waters of Danube.
