Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych appreciates
the appointment of Vitaly Gaiduk for the post of the secretary of National
Security and Defense Council. The Premier told Tuesday at the press conference
after the meeting with the President.
“Gaiduk is an experienced man. He is a specialist, who has great experience of work on various posts. He is very even-tempered person, who makes rational decisions; that’s why I think it is rather positive choice,” Yanukovych said in particular.
At the same time, the Premier noted that the President did not consult with him as for this appointment. “It is President’s matter, and he personally defined and made decision,” Yanukovuch said.
