As of October 1, there were 20 banks for liquidation in Ukraine. In January-September nine new banks have been registered, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) press office informs.

Sixteen banks out of the total number have been liquidated by the NBU decision, three ones – by the court decision and one bank – by a decision of the stockholders' meeting.

SCB Sigmabank CJSC, Commercial Bank Delta Ltd, AIS-bank Ltd, Partner-Bank Ltd, Bank Bohuslav Ltd, SCB Concord CJSC, Commercial Bank Ipobank OJSC and Finansbank CJSC have been registered in January-September, NBU informs.

 
As of October 1, 166 Ukrainian banks have got NBU licence. Ukrainian bank branch network numbers 1,409 units.

Kyiv City: Ukrainian bank Vidrodzhennya; GARANT; DAMIANA-BANK; Intercontinentbank; Gradobank; INKO; OLBank; Ukrspetsimpeksbank; Rostok Bank; “Joint-Stock Bank Credi Swiss First Boston (Ukraine)”; Joint-Stock Bank Allonzh; Kyivsky Universalny Bank.

Dnipropetrovs’k region: Premierbank Commercial Joint-Stock Bank.

Donetsk region: Donvyglekombank Joint-Stock Bank.

Zaporizhzhya region: Slov’yansky; Nash Bank.

Lviv region: GALS Commercial Bank.

Rivno region: Knyazhyi Commercial Bank.
