On October 3-4 OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin Brichambaut is visiting Ukraine, with a view of conducting a meeting of heads of the OSCE's Regional Field Representations in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's spokesman Andriy Deshchytsia told a Tuesday news briefing, Cabinet’s press office reported.

Within the visit's framework the OSCE Secretary General is expected to meet with Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk to discuss matters of Ukraine - OSCE cooperation.

The parties are also supposed to focus on ways to resolve the so-called frozen conflicts, including the Transdniestrian conflict.

They will also discuss the OSCE project coordinator's activities in Ukraine.

United States Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs David Kramer will visit Ukraine on October 4-6.

According to Deshchytsia, the US official will hold a series of meetings at the Secretariat of President, the Cabinet of ministers and the Foreign Ministry. The meetings will deal with the modern state and prospects for development of Ukrainian - American relations.

On October 11 Foreign Minister Petras Vaitiekunas of Lithuania will make a working visit to Ukraine through his Ukrainian counterpart, Borys Tarasyuk's invitation.

According to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's spokesman, the Lithuanian Foreign Minister will meet with top-placed Ukrainian officials and the Foreign Ministry's senior officers.

The meetings are expected to deal with Eurointegration and Euro-Atlantic integration-related matters and the two countries' interactions within international and regional organisations.
