MP Yosyp Vinsky has declared at today press conference that the opposition intends “to save Ukraine from return to the past.”

According to him, the Agreement on Opposition Formation reads that its basis is the idea of democracy. “I realise it will not be easy deal,” said Vinsky and added that the opposition is supported by the Ukrainian population, and it is the major factor, he stressed.

For now, BYuT and its leader is the embodiment of the democracy, Vinsky said. Yulia Tymoshenko has been unanimously elected an opposition leader.

Tymoshenko in her turn informed that Oleksandr Turchinov, Mykola Tomenko and Yosyp Vinsky have been elected deputy leaders of the opposition.
