“Problem topics in relations with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) do not exist and during the talks, led in constructive and friendly atmosphere, we have achieved mutual understanding in all the issues,” noted Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev after the meeting of joint committee “Ukraine-European Bank for Reconstruction and Development”.
In the process of discussion, held at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine yesterday, the scope of work on construction of the depot for Chornobyl NPP exhaust nuclear fuel, putting into operation a plant for liquid waste processing and situation concerning tender in designing and construction of a new protective confinement were among the raised topics. Meeting of Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev and EBRD Vice President Fabrizio Saccomanni resulted in decision to create working group responsible for organizational issues concerning international projects where money is administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Andriy Klyuyev stressed that in the discussion process the parties emphasized mutual readiness for long-term cooperation built on principles of transparency, mutual advantage and respect.
