The Ukrainian Parliament elected Grigoriy Ilyashev, Regions Party, which stands against Ukraine's accession to NATO, head of the Verkhovna Rada permanent delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. The decision was passed at a Wednesday constituent session of the Verkhovna Rada permanent delegations to international organizations, Cabinet’s press office reported.

The Verkhovna Rada's new delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly will be led by a member of the opposition BYuT faction, Oleh Bilorus, and Socialist Ivan Bokyi will chair the VR permanent delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.

As Chairman of the VR Committee for Foreign Affairs Vitaliy Shybko said, the head of Ukraine's permanent delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has not been elected so far for "certain disagreements with regard to the delegation staff".

The Ukrainian Parliament is represented in 12 international organizations.
