Today the last group of
Ukrainian citizens has arrived in Ukraine from Lebanon, as Foreign Minister Borys
Tarasyuk told on the meeting of the Cabinet, ForUm’s correspondent reported.
According to Tarasyuk, for August 1, 2006 1.117 Ukrainian civilians, including 317 children, were evacuated from Lebanon.
Together with its citizens Ukraine also evacuated 38 foreign nationals (23 Lebanese civilians, five Russians, three Moldavians, two Uzbeks, two Palestinians, two Byelorussians and one US citizen).
