Victor Yushchenko has met with Yulia Tymoshenko (BYuT), Roman Bezsmertny (Our Ukraine) and Oleksandr Moroz (Socialist Party of Ukraine), President's press office reported.
The Head of State congratulated the three leaders on forming a democratic parliamentary coalition.
“I have a right to congratulate you on completing this stage. Unfortunately, it was too long but has a wonderful finale. I thank each party for the efforts they demonstrated. I am convinced this was done for the sake of Ukraine," he said, adding that there were many formidable challenges ahead.
Then they discussed candidates to fill posts in Ukraine's new government and the Verkhovna Rada.
Secretariat Chief of Staff Oleh Rybachuk was present at the meeting.
