One of the leaders of Socialist Party Iosif Vinsky
considers that further consultations over formation of the coalition of
democratic forces can be held only with participation of President Yushchenko.
“Consultations must be conducted only along with the President,” said Vinsky on Friday and added that the negotiators passed to a stage when discussion over portfolio distribution could be held only with the participation of the Head of State.
Yesterday SPU, BYuT and the OU bloc appealed to the President with a request to hold a meeting for discussing issues connected with coalition formation. The President has not given an answer yet.
