Ukrainian delegation headed by the First Vice-PM Stanislav Stashevsky visits Greece. The delegation consists of Foreign and Economy Ministries’ representatives.
Ukrainian and Greek authorities have held IV session of the joint intergovernmental committee on economic, industrial and scientific and technical collaboration. The parties reached certain agreements within the agricultural, tourism, shipbuilding, construction, infrastructure development and implementation of the new energy technologies.
According to Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Evripidis Stylianidis, Greece is willing to scale up investments into Ukrainian economics. By now, over 70 Greek companies are working in Ukraine, and the investment volume has been two times more than previous indexes (by $257 million).
Ukrainian Deputy Industrial Ministry Victor Baranchuk stressed that in the course of the negotiations, the parties agreed on military-industrial cooperation.
Ukraine and Greece inked the following documents: the protocol of the IV session of the joint intergovernmental committee on economic, industrial and scientific-technical cooperation; the agreement on cooperation between the State Consumer Standards and Greek counterpart Elot; the agreement on mutual understanding between Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and Greek Industrialist Federation.
