On June 4-5, Bucharest will host the Black Sea Forum for Partnership and Dialogue-2006. All states of the Black Sea region, including Ukraine, are invited to take part in the forum.
It is expected that during the Black Sea Forum its participants would continue democratic dialogue on stability and development, launched by the forum of the Community of Democratic Choice in Kyiv in December 2005 and proceeded recently in Lithuania within the Vilnius Conference “Common Vision for Common Neighborhood”.
The Black Sea Forum is intended to proceed with informal dialogue on state and non-governmental levels, aimed at strengthening of the Black Sea identity and closer regional interaction for ensuring the democratic development, stability, security and economic prosperity of the countries in the Black Sea basin, the Foreign Ministry press office reports.
The target aim of this process is to convert the Black Sea region to the Eurointegration area for cooperation of the sovereign states, the area with functioning market economy systems, transparent and efficient governmental structures. This process is also focused at maintaining of strong ties with the Euro-Atlantic community with a view of further extension and consolidation of the area of freedom, security and stability in the region of the Black Sea.
