Ukraine's integration into European structures challenges reformation of the frontier infrastructure

Experts opine that Ukraine’s integration into the EU may challenge reformation of check-points’ infrastructure and higher level of personnel training of the State Frontier Service, Vitaly Antonyuk, the Chief of the State Frontier Service told.

According Antonyuk, in 2006 over 5.4 million (5.9 million in 2005) of transport vehicles and 24 million (23 million in 2005) of citizens crossed the frontier within last five months.

Regarding the technical reformation of Ukrainian check-points, Antonyuk stated that all necessary equipment has been already delivered.
