The participants of the 3rd Scientific Antarctic Conference held in Kyiv discussed pressing issues of the development and work of Ukrainian station in Antarctic. The winterers of the 10th Ukrainian Antarctic Expedition have calculated all penguins and other birds living in Graham Land where “Vernadsky” Ukrainian station is located.
In the course of the discussion, the scientists discussed the peculiarities of the penguins’ migration and the global warming influence on the birds. During their missions, the winterers conducted mosses’ germs study and represented the results before the audience.
