May 31, Ukraine and Poland will submit applications for bid to stage Euro-2012, Ukraine’s Vice-PM Vyacheslav Kyrylenko told Tuesday at the meeting of the working group on this question.
“We are within the timeframes: on May 11, the Cabinet passed the plan of activities for preparation of the application for the second stage of the UEFA bid, and on May 31 we are to present our joint Ukrainian-Polish application in Geneva,” said Kyrylenko.
In the framework of the meeting, the participants discussed the issues related to the parcellation for building of hotels, the creation of proper tourist infrastructure and tourist-info centres and fan-zones in every city hosting the Euro-2012.
“The special attention was focused on the draft “On Eruo-2012” which is UEFA obligatory conditions. I think that the parliament will have positive decision on it by the end of September – the beginning of October,” concluded Kyrylenko.
