Ukrainians have become more interested in NATO, as declared Michael Dure, director of NATO center of information and documentation in Ukraine.

“We can note that a lot of people, and not only in Kyiv, but in Donetsk, Odesa, Kharkiv regions, Sevastopol and Simferopol, want to know more about NATO. And we are ready to become a source of information,” said Dure.

“If to compare this day with that one five years ago when I came to Ukraine, then people speak about NATO every day now,” added the Alliance representative.

He also noted that Ukrainian authorities had a strategy of informing the citizens about advantages of NATO membership for Ukraine. “It is rather positive that there are laws in Ukraine which regulate financing for information,” said Dure.
