On April 19, 2006 Mykola Maymeskul, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine received newly appointed Ambassador of New Zealand with residence in Ukraine Christopher Elder in connection with presentation of copies of credentials.
The participants of the meeting discussed the prospect of the Ukrainian – New Zealand cooperation in commercial, economical, cultural and humanitarian spheres as well as possibilities of intensification of top level political dialogue.
On completion of the meeting M.Maymeskul wished Ch.Elder successes in his further diplomatic activity in our country and expressed hope that the first visit of the head of the foreign policy office of New Zealand would be a significant impact for further development of bilateral relations.
