In the course of the meeting with First Deputy Advisor on National Security Jack Crouch, PM Yekhanurov supported the forthcoming launch of the new government of Ukraine.
The main attention was paid to the current political situation in Ukraine, the terms of formation and configuration of the parliamentary-governmental coalition and the prospects of US-Ukraine interaction within the priority trends of development, the Cabinet press service informed.
The current government makes every effort for stabilization of the development of the country in the after-election period, PM Yekhanurov stressed.
All political forces guided by democratic principles will get the priorities of further development as soon as the new Cabinet has launched functioning. He believes the new government will continue Euro and Atlantic integration.
The Head of the Cabinet also stressed that to continue Ukraine-US dialogue related to fuel and energy sphere is very important for Ukraine’s energy independence. PM pointed out that the new prospects of bilateral cooperation within the energy sphere were born by the Energy Strategy of Ukraine which is valid until 2030. The key aspects of this document is energy saving, prior development of coal and uranium industry and diversification of the energy supply.
