The European Union can not give prospects for fast acceptance
of Ukraine into its ranks, as declared Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the
European Commission, during the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Council
of Europe.
At the same time he noted that “Ukraine is a member of the European family.” “I believe in the future of Ukraine’s European choice,” said Barosso, UNIAN reports.
The Head of Eurocommission offered Ukraine to cooperate with the EU as more as possible within the frame of policy of good-neighbourly relations and partnership and to make this cooperation successful and mutually beneficial.
