Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine have passed a resolution, which finds the Cabinet’s work in the sphere of housing and communal services deficient. As reported Parliament’s Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn, 268 MPs had voted for the resolution.

The reporter on this issue, head of VR Committee on transport, housing and communal services and communication Valery Pustovoitenko, noted that the problem in housing and communal services sphere had appeared under the previous governments, but every new government is responsible for the state of this or that sphere in full.

In his turn, Speaker Lytvyn explained that passing this resolution the Parliament estimates not the activity of separate ministries, but the situation in the sphere of housing and communal services on the whole.

“We have all grounds to state that we aren’t satisfied with the situation…I would ask not to apprehend such estimates oversensitively,” said Lytvyn.

Parliamentarians have also passed resolution, which finds the Cabinet’s work in the sphere of the agroindustrial complex unsatisfactory. 261 MPs have voted for this resolution.
