The power has not undergone the test of cold, as declared Ihor Shkirya, representative of faction “Regions of Ukraine” (Party of Regions – ed.) and member of VR Committee on construction, transport, housing and communal services and communication.
As reported press office of the deputy, he reproaches officials with failure to solve “gas issue” and with unwillingness to use their plenary power for solving critical economic and municipal problems.
“January frosts have revealed incompetence of officials. They failed to prepare municipal enterprises for work under extreme conditions,” underlined Shkirya.
The MP reckons the power treats cynically and depreciatingly the part of Ukraine voting down Yushchenko. As an example, he gave Dzerzhynsk, Donetsk region.
Earlier, the state invested budget funds in Dzerzhynsk for social programs, but now it ceased financing, and, as a result, road building is terminated and the repair work is reduced to minimum.
The member of the Verkhovna Rada Ihor Shkirya states that such situation is observed in “unloved by orange power” Western Ukraine. “At the same time, bridges are under construction, roads are repaired and schools’ roofs are in an apple pie order in the regions voted for the current President,” added Shkirya.
